Mini-Pallet Transformation

I have a confession to make.  I bought this mini-pallet at Michaels for $7.

This is what it looked like after I stained it. . . .with Black Tea and Steel Wool & Vinegar stain.  Check out my post HERE where I blogged about the stain.

Transformed it into a shelf/message center/sweater rack/coffe cup rack - you name it!!

Had to attach a Ball jar to put a pretty flower in it.

I made some faux candle holders.

I found many of these ideas on Pinterest when I researched ideas for "pallet shelves".

I will be selling this shelf at the artisan mall where my booth is set up.  It was a fun project to do.

Until next time,

  2. Great transformation!!
I saw an old pallet out in the meadow.. I just may have to go snag it, and do a little pallet project of my own :)

    Have a nice week.

  3. That is a great idea. I have been looking up a few do it yourself wall hangings for our kitchen area. I am not such a fan of paintings or real art in the kitchen. I like it to look more relaxed because I really like it when our children decide to just spend the evening in there with family.

    1. I'm so tempted to make another one just for me but I haven't seen them at Michaels lately. I'll keep on looking, the kids would love to play with something like this I believe :)
