For those of you following my deranged mind about painting my knotty pine kitchen cabinets, well here's a sneak peek. I am basically done with removing all 30 cabinet doors & hardware along with all the washing, sanding, wiping, drying, priming, drying, painting, drying and then reattaching the doors & hardware. And of course with every major project, there will be mistakes. In this picture you will see it. It can be easily fixed, I'm just SO embarrassed, but hey I'm keeping it real here. Can you find it? I'll let you look for it and let me know what it is. Oh well, that's what happens when undertaking such a magnanimous job.
I will post the final project once we're done with several other tasks within the kitchen. Hope and pray you're having a great weekend.
Until next time,
If it's the cabinet handles..Cute and quirky:)
ReplyDeleteKudos..I cannot believe the courage you have had.
You LOVE that home and it shows!!
It's so pretty what you have done so far.
We needed a new fridge a little over one yr ago..ours was kaput..we also bought French doors..I like them a lot:)
It is the cabinet handles! You're right! :) Yes, it was quirky thing to do but that's what happens when you're tired. I love my french door fridge. We had one at our previous house too and had to continue the tradition. Thank you so much for your kind words. There's a lot to do in this old house and it's fun since I've got the time.
DeleteLooking pretty and fresh!
ReplyDeleteThank you Ms. Debbiedoo :)
DeleteLooks Fabulous! And I love your handles. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. You guessed right!! :)
DeleteThe white just looks so fresh and new. If this handle is the only one you messed up on you are truly a master painter/putter backer. I can't wait to see the whole kitchen.

Well, now that you've mentioned it, I'm missing the top spice cabinet door. Can't believe I've misplaced it but perhaps hubby put it away. I haven't had a chance to ask him. Yes, it looks so much fresher and newer. Thank you for your kind words :)
DeleteI spotted the handles on the bottom doors too. But like you said it's very easily fixed. I love your white kitchen. I looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI'm so embarassed, still can't believe we made that mistake. Oh well, I'll get around to fixing it :) Thank you for your kind words!
DeleteIt's looking lovely. If it makes you feel better, I just painted the dining-room door and the hardest part was to put back the handle.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Just don't put it on upside down ;)
DeleteYour white cabinets look so nice. I'm sure white really brightens your space, too. I couldn't find your goof and had to read the comments before I could see it!
ReplyDeleteLOL Paula! White is so much better than knotty pine. Thank you for your kind words. -Bev
