A New Beginning

North Shore Bungalow

Hard to believe we have moved 900 miles, with three cats, me driving the car following behind my hubby in the moving truck.

One thing we realized during this move, we're not as young as we used to be.  This move took a lot of hours and hard, hard work.

We closed on our north shore bungalow today, eight days after we arrived.  Thankfully, my sister and her hubby allowed us to stay in their fancy schmancy RV with the three cats.

A picture of me in the back deck

Entrance from the side of the house into our backyard.  Gotta love the wrought iron fence.

One of my favorite spots in the backyard.  These are hostas and deer will not touch these!!  That makes me so happy.  The swinging bench is in the perfect spot where the sun rarely touches.

I so look forward to all the projects and meals I'll be cooking in our new home.  I am so tired now and probably not making sense but hubby and are so thrilled we are finally here.

We are finally here in our new North Shore Bungalow.

Until next time,

    1. Oh Monique, you words are so precious and from the heart. You express yourself so well, that's what I love about you and your blog. Thank you so much. I will plant Dafs around my tree, thanks for the tip - I need all the tips I can get. Perhaps I will turn my brown thumb into a green thumb living here :)

  3. Your new home is so beautiful! The shingles and dormer on top, the bay window on the side (my favorite) and doors opening onto the deck, and the shed (garage?) out back... everything is so charming. Thank you for sharing your new adventure with us! I'm hooked!
